I bought a 7oo r4 that was sat up to run a non lock up conv. It also came with a new 3000 stall b&m non lock up conv. My question is will it being non lock up cause me any problems other than less fuel economy? The trans has been rebuilt with alton clutches and bands and it also has a trans go shift kit installed. I will be installing it in a 89 iroc conv. with the stock 305 and the factory intalled rear at least for now.

 

The only thing it will hurt is fuel economy and it will make a little more heat so a good 18000 to 24000 gvw cooler would be in order
