Ordered my Edge......

Talked to Andre and a very nice man indeed. I should be recieving my 3000 stall with 2.5 STR in about 7-9 business days. We could have went more stall but I wanted it to be a little tighter for daily driving (like stock feeling at part throttle) at the moment. I'm excited....this was my first performance torque converter purchase!

How does it feel? What's your thoughts on it exactly from a stock unit? Thanks!

You'll be happy with it... Even the 4000 stall I got from him drives great on the street.

Re: Ordered my Edge......

Yea, I think I will. I have talked to them many times out there. So, he knows my intentions with the truck. I was deciding between them and Yank but Edge for the same price as Yank would give me any STR and stall speed I wanted in a 9.5" case so I can't complain there.

feels pretty good, although it seems a bit louder than the gm unit? sometimes i think i can hear it spinning but i dunno. anyone else attest to that?

the torque converter is a little looser than stock, but after a week or two you won't even notice. just cruising around you won't really notice it too much, but it'll rev really fast when you get into it, and after it shifts your revs will still stay up in the powerband. its nice.

Well, I am going up with the engine at the same time....more compression and bigger cam with AFR 195cc heads so it's going to feel different all together. That's what I want to hear though.
