Which servo do you prefer?
Again, another thread about B&M vs TransGo (vs JET)
I'm looking at aftermarket servos on Summit Racing, and I'm seeing a price range from $24-$86, the cheapest being B&M and the most expensive being JET, with TransGo in the middle. Which do you guys prefer, or do they all work as good as the next? Also, is there a major difference in a 2nd gear of 4th gear servo?
Here's the list of available ones on Summit:

Re: Which servo do you prefer?
Go to Pro Built or PATC's(raptor trans) site and look around there.
I reccomend Superior's billet servos for a performance trans. The 2nd(intermediate) servo is a seperate unit from the 4th gear(OD). They are in the same housing, but are seperate on the pin. The OD upgrade is not usually necceassary for a performance car, unless you intend running overly hard in OD. I usually only run the aftermarket OD servos in towing and/or 4wd applications.

i have, or had, the superior servo and i liked it.
Re: Which servo do you prefer?
You must be looking at valve body kits, as TransGo & B&M do not make servos. The Corvette servo when matched with the right accumulator setup and feed hole size will hold more than 700+HP. If you are going to go with an aftermarket 2nd gear apply servo, go with the Sonnax as this will still use the cushion springs, which is much easier on the band anchors than the Superior servo. As far as valve body kits go stay with TransGo.
