i bought a 700R4 without the wiring for overdrive. the local junk yard cuts all cables from the tranny when they pull it, but i can get ahold of the actual clip. i was wanting to just reattach wires to it. does anyone have a chart of the wire colors and what they go to? thanks alot

 

There is no wiring for OD function. The wiring is for torque converter lock-up and is required for extended driving in OD.

The color code is various through the years and models. - If you do a search you will find the various methods of which to operate the lock-up function and which terminals are hooked to where for each method.

Also make sure you correctly adjust the TV cable. An improperly adjusted cable can easily shorten the life of the trans. - do a search, it's been covered many times
