my 700 r4 is weak and im lookin to upgrade. prob stickin with the same auto overdrive but i want to know whats the deal with lockup and non lockup? also i am goin to add a B&m 2400 rpm stall converter all behind a blueprint 383.? jegs has a company selling built 700r4's for decent prices might look into that but my main concern is the lock up or non lock up

 

First, stay away from B&M torque converters, their failure rate is one of the worst. As for transmissions or torque converters, do not go by price, but by reputation, otherwise you will being doing this more than once, and will be very expensive in the long run. You get what you pay for is still very true here. Do your homework!
