tko 600 factory torque arm
people running the factory torque arm with the tko 600, are you using a torque arm with the lips facing in towards the driveshaft, or away from the driveshaft, and does it matter

Re: tko 600 factory torque arm
i dont have a tko but why on earth would you want to run a stock TA with an upgraded trans?? just upgrade the TA cause no one makes a clamshell mount that will hold the TA to a tko..
either that or break out the welder and scrap metal and fabricate something..

Re: tko 600 factory torque arm
the torque arm bolts up perfectly to the side of the transmission, just need a new mount cause the rubber part is destroyed in what i have.
I have another post up where you can see i ordered a spohn crossmember and torque arm and it never fit even close to right, so ive been forced to scrap the whole deal and go back to factory.
The torque arm actually bolted up fine and i just got an energy suspension piece ordered up that hooopefully *crosses fingers, knocks on wood* is actually going to fit the damn thing

oh wow.. you learn something everyday.. well hope the new bushing works for ya..
Re: tko 600 factory torque arm
The Energy suspension bushing will work just fine as long as you ordered the right one. They offer bushings for each style of "lips" under different part numbers. 5678TA, the stock T5 torque arm mount is a direct fit on a TKO trans.

Re: tko 600 factory torque arm
i ordered the right energy suspension bushing, lips out, ordered it on friday, should have been in monday or tues, my shop has the bracket in hand, and they havent called me yet so something must be wrong.
does this look like the right bracket? it bolted up to the torque arm and the trans, but i cant find a new bushing for it that fits
