lost 2nd gear after rebuild

Done my first 700r rebuild, went great for a few miles.
Suddenly lost second gear, shifting manually,or auto.
If i tach it up to 4000 or so in 2nd it will catch for a moment.
Any ideas on where to start.?

Thankx for any info.

Re: lost 2nd gear after rebuild

as of last night, not shifting into 4th.
She goes from 1st to 3rd,stays in third.
band lug? the lug that holds the 2/4 band in?
Im almost 100% sure i got in on correctly,
Can you give a little more info on the accums?and what to look for on the servo.

Re: lost 2nd gear after rebuild

Well when I say band lug I do not mean you didnt install it corectly. But that the pin pulled through the hole in the band , and this does sound more likley than the servos since since both would have to be bad.
When I say blocking acumulators I mean some people and even some shift kits will have you put spacers in the accum to restrict or eve stop there movment this will result in a very hard shift and will tear through the band pin hole unless its a reinforced type band, Othe things are billet servos if not used with the apropriate band
