I have a 3000 stall non lock up converter installed on my 700R4. Ever since I installed it I have been getting a loud rattling noise. I removed the check ball from the front of the input shaft. I also installed the Trans go non lock up valve. I noticed that when I installed it there was quite a bit of movement of the valve in the bore. I suspect that this may be the problem. It only seems to do it when I am at a stop and take off under light to moderate throttle. I guess my question is, is it imperative that I use the non lock up vlve in the pump? Could I just install the OE valve and spring and run it?
