700R4 -> T56?
I currently have a built 700R4 that snaps your neck just putting it into gear. I love it, but i've only put about 20 miles on it. I've been thinking about a T56 swap and I wanted to know if anyone has done this and how hard it was. I dont have a welder so my fab capabilities are limited.
I just seem to have too many issues with the tranny atm. Leaking and getting it setup right and all that mess. I'm a huge fan of automatics, but because I want to do more than 1/4 runs, I was looking into t56.
What do you think? I also feel that my current tranny is going to kill me. When I had a built 700R4 before the V8 swap (had a v6 baby) and if there was a slick peice of road or it was raining at all, when I was 3/4 into it and it shifted, i would go sideways. As it is now, if i put it into drive, the tires chirp.
Anyone want a demonic 700R4?

If I were you I would keep the auto, t-56 swap has been nothing but a pain for me and a lot of money sunk into it.
