blocker pin removal for quicksilver shifter

I have a b&m quicksilver console shifter for 2nd gens and i want to put it in my 89 trans am with a four speed but the directions do not say how change it over from a 3 to 4 speed i dont have the original ones and the ones on the b&m website say nothing about it. Any pics or advice would be of great help

According to these instructions, the pin is only used if you have a 3 speed. For a 4 speed, you simply remove the pin.
