Tranny Sensor help?
Just finished an engine swap and noticed that there is one wire sensor/connector which I had labeled for "transmission" which I cant find where it goes for the LIFE of me.
Its a smaller two pronged connector...the colour of the two wires are Purple and Yellow when I pull back the shielding...can anyone help me where this goes????
Thanks,
Dave

Re: Tranny Sensor help?
what did the wiring harness come out of? was it a manual or an automatic? it looks like a connector for the back-up light switch on a t-56 or nv3500.

So Sofakingdom...you say the VSS...and it goes into the extension housing..... I looked for the LIFE of me and cant see anywhere that this would plug in. I mean it came out of SOMEWHERE...so I know this is a case of me overlooking it....can you give some guidance as to where I should be looking?
thanks guys.

Driver's side, about 3" in front of where the drive shaft fits in.
