Slipping?
I Drag Race my 1988 350 Camaro, (Bracket Race) And my 700r4 tranny is a year old. Now When I take off, the motor pulls Hard until 4500Rpm and then theres nothing until the rpm's hit 6000rpm and then slams 2nd gear. Whats Causing this Drop Off? Is it slippage? I have a External Tranny fluid cooler, and a Temp gauge. the tranny has never seen 200*, it rides around 120-150*F all summer. The tranny fluid is just over a year old, 8,000 miles on the trans/ trans fluid. A Chevrolet Dealer Ship installed the Tranny and set the TV cable. its been great until I put on my 3'' headers and catback.
Any Hints/Idea's?

Re: Slipping?
The Oxygen sensor wouldnt have anything to do with the tranny would it? I know the O2 sensor senses heat as well as oxygen. and Its all computer controlled..
