Torque Converters - Which brand are you running?

I am in the market for a new torque converter (for a 700r4) and wondered who is running what (as far as brand goes), and how satisfied are you with it.

By satisfied I mean not only with the converters performance but with the customer service of the place you bought it from, and the value (i.e. was it worth the money).

I've had really good service from rebuilt V6 torque convertors. They give a higher stall and work fine.

I had an "edge" 2800 in my Impala SS and absolutely loved it. Great service to boot. If I was staying auto I'd buy from there again without a thought.

Who sells the 'edge' converters? I have read that name on this site before, but never have seen a link to a website or anything.

I have used PTC converters in many applications and had 0 problems. These guys are great to work with and build an excellent product. They can custom build whatever you want at a good price.

I am a distributor for Edge TC's. Give me a call and I will help you with matching the stall to the way you drive, the motor combination, rear end gear ratio, etc. Dana
