its a built 700r4 with a TCI reverse manual valve body. I have checked the servo clearance, and when my buddy assembled the trans all pre install checks checked out. I am at a loss here so this is the problem: when shifting from 1-2 the wheels literally "lock" up (as in stops moving). Any ideas??? This worked fine before the rebuild. All of my other shifts are fine 2-3-4. HELP!!!

 

I would get a hold of TCI on this. As far as I am concerned, I would not use the TCI reverse manual valve body in anything.

 

i have contacted them and they said the 1-2 shift valve maybe stiking. What is bad about TCI?? Should i go art carr?? if so what one?

 

cmon any ideas?????? i checked the 1-2 shift valve its not sticking cmon guys!!
