Take off from a stop in 3rd gear.
That's about what 2.73s are like.
3.23s are about like taking off in 2nd gear.

Re: 3:73's
I used to have 2.77s until i ditched them for some 3.73s.
3.73s are much more fun esp with my t-56. I can literally side-step out of 3rd gear if im being rough, or i can drop it in 6th and cruise at 1500rpm for mileage. They whine a little bit but aftermarket Richmonds are known to be a little noisy. I love my 3.73s!
If you want to haul major a$$ from a dead stop then keep your 3.73s. If you want to lower your cruising RPMs then you might want to think about some 3.23s or 3.08s.
