New 12-bolt rear end. Moser, Currie, Strange or others?

I have start looking for a new rear end.

I want a GM 12-bolt, direct bolt-in without any modifications.

What do you recomend?
Moser, Currie, Strange or others?

Any bad experience with any of these?

Thanks.

Everyone has had good and bad experiences with each. Pick what you like.

shdwghst457, thanks for very useful information !!!!!!!!!!! Why?

I will upgrade the rear end and trans.
All because a 406 etc will take place when I'm ready.
These days I'm working on Spohn SFC's, LCA's and PHB etc.

They all seem to make good quality rearends. It usually boils down to price and customer service. I've had good luck with my Moser 12 bolt, no complaints after 6 years of use. I picked Moser because they are local for me.

Ummm .... the Strange S-60 is not a 12 bolt. It's a custom version of a Dana 60. It is not a bolt-in; you'll have to cut the driveshaft.

Strange also makes 12 bolts, they do bolt in.

I've done quite a bit of research on this, but, haven't purchased yet.

I can't remember whether it was Currie, Strange, or DTS who recommended I go with a 12 bolt, but, do away with the c-clips and in favor of 9" style axles.
