I would say SEARCH, this has been covered so many times it makes me sick to see another question about it. but, i think search is still busted, soooo\
it will bolt right in, its a bit wider, so your stock wheels will stick out too far, you will need to use 4th gen wheel offsets. the e-brake cables dont bolts right up, you need to have a set made or modify them somehow. and the brake lines are a little different, but they will probably still be on the axle when you get it so thats fine, and the flex line from the body to the rear is the same and will bolt right up as well.
98-02 is best, look for the v8 cars, camaro ss and firehawk, maybe the trans am, can have the zexel torsion posi.

the factory 4th gens come with 2.73,3.23,3.42 stock so if you are lookin for more gear you will have to get a rear that has been changed.
then you will change the offset of your rear wheels due to the 4"extra length of the 4th gen rear.
