alrite so i got this transmission off of one of the guys i work with for 300 bucks. the guy claims its all in good working order and the camaro it came out of it ran smooth as hell so i bring it home and clean it all up and on one of the bolts theres a whole shitload of silicone like there was a bad leak or sumthin. i knocked all the silicone off and backed out the bolt come to find it only got tighter and didnt want to come off. so then i did a little research and got the cover off the gear box and come to find these little inserts sitting on the bottom of the transmission. does anyone know where these inserts could have come from? could they have fallen out from in between the synchronizer hub and sleeve? or could they be the inserts that are on the shift forks?
