here is link for a source for 9 bolt cones, and NEW posi units. $500 AUS for a newe posi unit that is very reasonable

awesome find, I looked on ebay AU and didn't find this. Have you ordered anything from them yet. I am afraid shippings going to hurt, but no alternative.

I just ordered a set of cones, let you know what total was when I get them.

 

No I haven;t but I did as them for shiiping cost for cones. ther price fo rjust he cone, is $44 AUS, but shipped to my dorr it would be $77 AUS per cone. So that works out oto $65 US per cone deliveres, plus any duty.

Addtionally a complete NEW HD posi carrier is $500 AUS. Which is $420 US. the price as a eaton.. PLUS shipping. But this way cheaper than a 9 inch conversion LOL!!!!!!...... so around $600 delivered. not bad really and the 9 bolt is stronger than a 10 bolt and lighter than a 9".

I needed to this together for this season, so I machined my cones and the differential housing and shimed it up to take out the slack. MUCH better, no more wheel spin, i.e one wheel spining out of the corners!!!

Update on the cones, he only charged me $99AUS shipped for 2 cones, which is about $88 US, downside he said about 4 weeks till I receive them. Joe at Street Strip is very helpful and responds fast to emails. I'll grab some pics when they come in. VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE: It should be noted that I have the newer version LSD and the cones on ebay are for the newer lsd ONLY. Will not fit older production issued LSD.
