I am not sure if it will bolt up to my camaro or not. He said it would but you know people. I like that it has 3.45 gears and all, but is the size of the rear end larger than mine? I think mine is a 7.5" correct? Please tell me if this is a good trade or not. Thanks guys

Also when it says monoleaf. Is that for leaf spring suspension in the back? im confused. Rear ends on cars are not my specialty

 

It may be a good trade for the other guy. 8.5 rear will not work in a 3rd gen car. Completely different set up.

 

What would involve me redoing it? or do i have to change the rear suspension

 

its from a 3rd gen Nova which had leafsprings and drum brakes, so you'd have to cut the mounts for the leaf springs off,fabricate and weld on some spring pockets for coil springs, fabricate and weld on something for the torque arm to mount to, and fab and weld on something for the track bar/panhard bar to mount to. It also probably isnt the correct width for the car. You may also need a different yoke for your driveshaft to connect to it.

 

nvm. lol SO what should i try to trade him for? I know It is a random and broad question. But he wants to trade me for it. I honestly dont need the tranny, and i want something for the good of my car. What are some parts equal in trade to a transmission. The tranny is in good shape and all.
