Alright, i replaced my clutch the other day and while i had the trans out and the shifter and all that I noticed that the little plastic sleeve that goes where the pivot ball or whatever its called on the shifter goes into the trans is broke and crap. I've tried using the shifter (short throw) without this sleeve in there and no luck.. I cant get it into gear now. Anyone know where i can get a new sleeve??? I need one ASAP

 

any transmission parts place should be able to help you find one-if they deal with manual transmission parts at all.

 

I got one from my buddy at a ford dealership. he had to order it for me. turns out the t-5 was put in the mustang... too bad i already knew that...
