Transmission: 700r4

Axle/Gears: Moser 9" 4.11

700r4 ownt down shift

I have just got my car going and I am having a problem with the tranny. Driving normal the transmission shifts fine but if you go WOT the car stays in the gear that its in it wont down shift. I have a 355 with a 650 mighty demon and a adjustable throttle/tv cable bracket. Do I need to adjust my TV cable ??

You need a correct TV Base Bracket (one for Holley works on a BG) AND a correct TV Throttle Bracket (one for Holley works but needs a notch). I can get pics tomorrow of mine. The cable should start far enough back and the pull of the innder cable should be such that the TV plunger inside the v.body bottoms out. This is what causes that ratcheting out at WOT when initially setting the TV as per GMs instructions.

I have the correct brakcet from csr with the adjustable throttle and tv cable. I and I believe I adjusted the tv cable right. All I did was hit the button push the tv cable back to the firewall and then hook it up to the carb and make the throttle go to WOT and the tv cable adjusted itself with the clicking.
