alright i just picked up a 9 bolt with 345 gears and im just goign through putting new bearings and i have an eaton posi and a auburn but i didnt seem how this one works no springs is it a full posi pretty much a mini spool? or is there more to it on the inside and is a 100 bucks good for only needing break lines its a pretty clean rearend and all? how will it match up to my 10 bolt thats in my car (open 3.08).

 

It works pretty much the same way as the others; the only difference is the friction element is brass cones, instead of plates.

Yes it's pretty much a bolt-in.

You might have brake issues, but that would depend on which brakes you have now, and which are on the 9-bolt.

The 3.45 was only in some years of 305/5-speed w/G92 cars. Not a whole lot of those in the world. Probably one of the best all-around ratios for a TPI motor, at least a near-stock one, as 3.7x tends to be too much, without some engine mods to help it breath freer at higher RPMs. $100 is a GREAT deal, if you don't have to do too much to it.
