my rear is starting to make strange noises
i know what your thinking...anyhow, ive started to beat on the old 10 bolt a little now that my clutch is broken in
, and its starting to make some noises, kinda like a turbo spooling up, just a lot deeper. i dont think its long for this world, may speed up the moser 9" though

mainly from a stop up to about 30 or so there is the spooling sound, later there is a whirring sound, which the gears always made, but its getting worse.
Im not really concerned about fixing it, the plan was to replace it with a 9" rear, im actually thought it wouldnt last as long as it has.

what noise when? hard to say what it could be without knowing what noise its making, but i can guess pinion bearings, usually indicated by noise on accel
