Suggestions for Trans and Rear end?
I have a 92 RS with a 350, Hooker headers, True dual 2.50 inch pipes with 2 glasspacks. Recently My trans died on me, shift plate between 2nd and 3rd went out. I want to beef up my 700r4 and rear end before i put everything back in. What torque converter should i put in with that? I was also looking at 3.73 gears for the rear end.
What would I have to change out to do all this?

What kind of cam are you running?
If your looking to beef up the tranny, get a transgo shift kit and look into TCI's new constant pressure valve body. They say it keeps a constant 200psi or so of line pressure at all time and your TV cable is just used to adjust your part throttle upshifts, and its less that $300 retail. Looks like the way to go if you do a rebuild.

Might as well put the stall in with the tranny out. It depends on what cam you go with but something around a 3000 would be good.

The cam will come later. I just need an idea of what would be a good torque converter and what all id have to change out to make everything work right.
