rear end acting up! help plz

my rear end is acting up every time i hit the gas hard, it thumps like its skipping...its this ok or is it seriouse?

could just be wheel hop, I had wheel on all 3 thirdgens I have owned. rear lower control arms solved that problem. keeps the flex of the rear end to a min.

also could be your transmission mount on torque arm mount, those usually cause a thumping or poping when you floor the gas hard especially at a light or stopped.

I had a bad tranny mount and wheel hop at the same time felt like the car was falling apart when I would wot at a light or the track.

I doubt its an internal problem because that would be more like metal to metal nosies like grinding all the time.

Take the cover off and check for broken teeth, it'll be quite apartment if you broke your ring.

Wheel hop you will feel in your car, it will shake everything. A broken ring will make a dunk dunk dunk sound. You need to be more specific with the thump sound, but in the mean time check your rear end for teeth.
