I installed a new shifter tonight (the pro5.0) i love it except for 2 little things... it doesnt go into 5th or reverse... im not sure what to do... any suggestions? thanks

Have you figured this out yet? I am having the same problem, except for mine worked fine before, but I just installed a centerforce clutch, and now after I reinstalled the shifter, it will not go into 5th or reverse.

 

there are ways to adjust the position of the static shifter from side to side. If it's too far left, there will be too much play in that direction and you wont be able to move the shifter enough right to get to 5th and reverse. Play around with it till you get it
