It not a hydro, it came out of a 83 z. I just wasnt sure if it would work properly. I dont want a jank setup. but I really want to do a 5 speed swap.

I don't know why it wouldn't work. I swapped a 87(I think) T5 into my 91 a couple of months ago. The only thing that didn't swap right over was the VSS that was on the T5. It was cable driven and my 91 needed the electronic one (It's about $75 for the right VSS).

Re: Will this work for swap??
Yes it will work.
It even has the pedal assembly and the little boot thing for where the push rod goes through the firewall.
You'll even get to find out why the old mechanical linkage is so crappy. You'll probably hate it; it'll have friction, weird little binding actions, funny noises, and all that; like they always do. Like all the 4 speed cars I had for all the years before I bought my 83 did. Like my 83 did before I swapped it over to hydraulic in about 85 or 86, the MINUTE I could get my hands on one.
