Engine: 305 30 over long tubes into 3" y
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 4:10
89 rs camaro 2.8 v6 which trans
which transmissions will fit in these cars i know its a 700r4.will trans out of s-10 fit in this car?are there any others that will fit?isnt the bolt pattern on v8 trans different? thanks for all replies.oh did a search

Axle/Gears: 3.42 open/2.73 open/ 3.27 9 bolt

S10 transmissions from a 2.8 will work in your camaro. V6 60 degree engines (2.8/3.1/3.4) used in Camaros and Firebirds use a "metric" transmission bolt pattern.
If you use an S-10 transmission, you must also re-use your tailshaft housing for your torque arm mount.
