Adding Edge Converter, Modifications needed?
I just bought an 10.5in edge converter for my 700r4, just wondering if there are any valve body mods needed, or useful when upgrading to such a unit.
I have read that you should remove the checkbal in the input shaft, but is there anything else? I dont have enough money for the probuilt shift kit right now tho
Trans is an 88 up 700, corvette servo, .500/.296 boost valves. Transgo Jr kit, recent stockish rebuild.
Thanks!

The thing that I did when I got an aftermarket converter was putting a external tranny cooler on. Makes a huge difference
