casting number for rear axle

Engine: 5.0l w/ new cam
Transmission: TH-350
Axle/Gears: 4.10's
casting number for rear axle

the number is 22522670, can anyone tell me anything with these numbers. is it a 7.5 or a 7.625 rear?

It's the same thing. The only thing different is the actual size of the ring gear. Internally, they're identical.

isnt the dimension inside the carrier, where the posi or spiders gears go, a slightly different size between the 7.5 and the 7.625

NO...everything is the same as stated before on the 7.5 & 7.625 dia dr gear.
