1988 IROC need help with the rear end.

I have a borgwarner rear end and I was wondering if 4.11 ratio will fit. I'm looking for a little better gearing and for any kind of help possible. I'm just starting to bracket race at Sac Drags on wednesday nights. Only upgraded to borg warner rear end. I ran little faster, but still want help and willing to learn new things.

Aftermarket support for the 9 bolt is virtually non-existant. You'd have a hard time finding 4.11 gears.

There aren't enough 9 bolts out there to generate much interest in providing aftermarket parts for them.

Re: 1988 IROC need help with the rear end.

you can ebay a set of gears for the 9 bolt, they surface every now and then as long as you are vigilant. Also there is a company called Jaws gears that make a set of 3.70 gears for it. Just a little info
