Ok, so I am not hard on clutches and it is only a V6 but this is the second time that a clutch disk has had the tab holding one of the springs break and the spring drops between the clutch disk and flywheel... Other than being a cheap clutch disk, anybody know if there might be another problem that leads to this???? The last two disks only lasted about 30,000 and then 15,000 miles (both with springs popped out)...
Also, since I have had two go bad the same way, anybody have a recommendation for a replacement brand... Something other than Centerforce as they are way too expensive... I tried a Centerforce in this same car way back when it had 62,000 on it (now has 205,000) and it never seemed to work quite right...
