extra cooler for transmission fluid...needed?

Engine: V6 2.8 multi-port and V8 5.0 FI
Transmission: 5-Speed and Automatic
Axle/Gears: no idea
extra cooler for transmission fluid...needed?

i know some people have installed extra coolers for their transmission fluid.


spohn has a cooler filter kit for 80bucks


do you think its worth it?

i just have an aux cooler. an aux cooler is always a good idea for the tranny. not sure about another filter for it. i have always just run the one that is in the tranny.

If you have a higher stall converter, its definitely needed. For stock, not so much.
