I have just encountered a very tragic thing! I drove my car about 2 weeks ago on a nice day and before I got back home I thought I would get on it once before putting it back away for the winter. Well, loss of traction. But not because of the power to turn both wheels but the right rear tire is the only one that spun. I tried it again a couple more times off the line and it did it only one more time. Is this a sign of the limited slip wearing out. Any differential gurus out there to help me out. I know the 9 bolt is not as easy as with a 10 bolt or so. Thanks again.

Yes, sounds like it has gone the way that they all go. It is used up.
It is said that you can "resurface" the cones and re-shim the internals of the carrier (not the "carrier shims" between it and the bearings, that set backlash) to restore their tension, but I don't know the details.

Yep sounds like it is going out. 9bolt.com is back online and they are the only 9 bolt supplier that I know of, but like all 9 bolt parts they are used.
