Transmission: Performabuilt Level 2, Vig 3200
Axle/Gears: S60 373
No First gear but have reverse?!?! Probuilt/Performabuilt help!
I'm just curious here, I'm getting a brand new transmission bc i am tired of getting the 700R4 rebuilt and rebuilt but what explaination is there that I have reverse but not first? I thought those two gears were the same?

First, go through the normal checks; fluid level, make sure the linkage is attached correctly, TV cable adjustment is correct (won't cause this though). They use the same low/reverse palnet, but two different clutch packs for apply.
