4th gen rear end in a 3rd gen??????

With putting a 4th gen rear end in a 3rd would it be possible to get a set of rear wheels to make up the 2" wider rear end with a different backspacing. If i were to use the adapters on the fourth gen axle so that i can still use the 3rd gen wheels how much different would that be than running a 17in 4th gen camaro wheel.

Also what are the bolt spacing on the 4th gen rear ends compared to the 3rd gen.

Re: 4th gen rear end in a 3rd gen??????

you need no spacer to run 4th gen wheels, you will need for the front though. and if you use the 3rd gen wheels on the rear they will stick out 2 inches
