quick question

if i plan on putting a 2200-2500 stall converter in my 700r4, and drive it on the street, i should probably look into an after market tranny cooler, unless i want to cook my tranny, rite?

Re: quick question

Right.

Nothing typically wrong with a stall converter except massive extra heat. I'd put a BIG cooler on there, if it was me...

Re: quick question

You could also run two smaller ones. Extra cooling never hurts. Its even good for regular trannies.

I have been using a 2400 stall for the last 6yrs on a street driven car with no tranny heat problems.

Re: quick question

I got a trans pan that has cooling tubes thru the bottom of it. It also holds 1qt extra fluid. It may not be worth much but I figure every little bit helps.
