bleeding the clutch

Whats the trick with this. I tried gravity bleeding it and have had no luck. I didn't have anyone to help me so I haven't been able to try to pressure bleed it. Though, I don't think I will have much luck as I don't see any fluid movement in the resivor(sp) when I pump the clutch. Shouldn't I see fluid shooting out like the brakes? I guess I'm a little confused. Who ever was pulling this car apart knocked the piston out of the actual thing that pushes on the clutch. Luck would have it though, all of the parts were there to put it back together. I just can get it to gravity bleed. Is this a possibility or dosen't it work this way??

Thanks
