Re: Moser 5/8" Wheel Studs
I had my axles done, the M/E axles are so hardened a regular drill bit dulls on the first hole, machinest said even his carbide drill took a hell of a beating. GL

Re: Moser 5/8" Wheel Studs
Axles are very hard metal. When I ordered my new axles, I ordered them predrilled and tapped for 5/8" studs.
Re: Moser 5/8" Wheel Studs
My old man drilled from the 1/2 to the 5/8 studs in his 35 spline mark williams axles. - You're gonna need a good tap and a really good bit and some way to dill perfectly square through the flange. A good tap will list what size drill bit to use.
If it's not perfectly square you'll have problems.
