car was cold temps are in the 20's right now , car wouldnt shift , i wiggled the shifter it shifted , i dont know if it shifted cuz i wiggled the shifter or it was a late shift , at highway speeds 70+ the engine is working pretty hard it eventually shifts feels late but i dont know if its just cuz i have a weak tpi 305 , at 70 mph the speed slowly climbs high rpms little power retained , its a tpi 305 , and the back tires are 225s not 245s like stock the tv cable is adjusted and the pan has been flushed the fluid was not burnt before the flush , trans has 118k on it , shifts very nice and soft if u drive it like normal , overdrive works , its just when u romp on it it seems to work hard in 3rd gear 2nd gear shifts hard but shifts , 3rd will just race and eventually shift im not used to a tpi set up so i dont know the power band , should i put some lucas trans treatment in? , take to a professional , or just pretty much get ready for a rebuild?
