700r4 help
I recently did a 350 carb swap in an 88 305 tpi iroc.....i seem to be missing the plug on the top of the transmission...its a 4 prong plug...do i need this? if so where does the plug go after it leaves the transmission?

It goes to the ECM. Main function is to lock up the torque converter clutch. Good feature to have operating for the sake of transmission life.

you mention the lock up in a 700r4 is good for help with the life of the trans. i ask about this because my 91 jimmy with 700r4 has tow package the dealer told me all this does is keeps the tranny from locking up, could you possibly touch on this more.
