Swapping 92 axle into 87

Hey guys, this winter I'm planning on building up a 10 bolt for my 87 camaro.

Im using a rear out of a 92 rs which came with 2.73 open diff, 28 spline axles and drum brakes.

I pulled this rear from a car i was parting and decided to cut the e brake cable at the driver side drum .

Do you know if my cable setup will work on this rear-end? My car is equipped with a 2.73 open with drum brakes with 26 spline axles.

If they're both drums, yes.

Everything external about them is exactly the same.

Drum brake cables should be the same. If in doubt, ask you local parts supplier if they changed after 1990.

Disk brake rear ends will be different. When they went to the PBR calipers, the cables changed.
