5 Speed Tranny
I found a 5 speed transmission from an 83 z28 in the junkyard that I can get for 500$. Assuming it is still the original tranny, it should be the non-world class right? I know these trannys arent as good as the world class ones but are they still any good? Is this whole set up worth getting for 500$.

Re: 5 Speed Tranny
Yeah, its definitely a non-WC, i think the changeover year was 89. $500 for a T5 seems a little steep, but if you can get the pedal (not sure if you need brake pedal too), master/slave cyl, console plate, flywheel, and all other parts for a swap, it's not to bad of a deal.
