Engine: 355 LT1, 1.8 I4
Transmission: T56, 5spd auto
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt 3.42(as long as no breaky)
What do you guys think?
Im in the process of shopping for a clutch kit for my newly aquired t56.
I found a guy selling a hayes clutch and pressure plate. He is selling it for 85 dollars shipped. I can get a new disc from jegs for 100 so that is a non issue.
500 dollars brand new from summit.
Question is, he admitted to some hot spots on the pressure plate and claims it never slipped behind a 383. It will be behind my hot cammed lt1.
