Just wondering how many people have had a engine vibration after installing a centerforce clutch???

no vibration other than normal but i did have trouble shifting at 6500 with the DF.. yanked the weights and shifts like butter.. that leads me to say that the weights could be throwing the rotating assembly off but nothing significant..

Replaced flywheel with a new aluminum flywheel. Now I know what your thinking. I would expect to have a bit more engine vibration with a aluminum flywheel compared to the stock flywheel, but this vibration just dosen't feel right. As for the flywheel being resurfaced that would probably only cause a vibration when the clutch was being released. I have a friend that installed the same clutch and came out with the same vibration that I have. Car ran smooth befour the install. All he changed was the clutch. When I change the motor in about a month I'm going to pull the weights. Although having changed the motor it's not realley going to prove anything, but I have a feeling that the weights are causing the problem.

The reason I asked about the flywheel is I had a similar experience that turned out to be excessive runout on the flywheel. I did a clutch job on a 4x4 S10 a few years back, and I had the flywheel turned at a reputable machine shop. When you would rev the engine, or accelerate from a stop, it would shudder. It didn't matter if the clutch was enaged, or what gear it was in. We changed the clutch again with no luck, so we puilled it back apart again and checked the runout on the flywheel, and sure enough it was way out. I bought a new flywheel and the problem was gone.
