Car: 1982 camaro z28
Engine: 305ci cross-fire injection
Transmission: turbo 350
rear end swap?

ok so right now i currently have an 82 z28 with the cross fire 305 in it and im swapping that out for a 350 small block am i gonna need to change my rear end out for a stronger one or do you think it will be ok? any thing helps thanks

Many members run stock 10-bolts behind 350's, including me. I wouldn't worry about it unless it becomes a problem.

Almost all 3rd gen cars had 10-bolts. So if you do something dumb, you will blow it up. Even if you had a 2.8 V6 or 5.7 V8.

I've gone through 3 of them already with my 400ish horse 350... one broke when it only made about 300hp.

BUT.. I know of cars with 500hp that had them survive for quite a while.

Its all in how you drive it. If you arent really hard on it, it should last ok. But if you are constantly dropping the clutch, etc, then it will break - with 100hp or 500hp.
