TRANNY QUESTION

hey guys i got a question i am swapping my 2.8 out for a 305 can i use my t-5 witha new bell housing or is the input shaft different size on a v8? or should i try to find a v8 t5which is hard no one seems to have one. help me

does the transmission have to be out of a camaro because of the torque arm or does it not matter does all t-5's have the bolt holes for the arm?
