I'm looking into swapping a Buick 3.8 Turbo into my 86 bird as I've heard discussed on these boards, and I've read about people using TCI adapters to bolt on 700r4 or 200r4 transmissions which I'm assuming are automatic(?) Thing is, I really want a standard tranny to swap for my auto. Is there any manual tranny that would work with both the f-body style as well as the Buick engine, or are there any other aftermarket adapters made for this application? Any help would be appreciated.

Just as an aside question, (I'm pretty ignorant about turbos) does the Buick turbo have blow off valves or do those come only on import tuner turbos? (Don't like imports, but I love that hissing sound)
