Hi guys right now i have a 700r4 with a shift kit not installed yet. Well my dad works with a guy and his dad past away and he got all kinds of parts. Well on thing is a turbo 350 trans and i can get for 100-200 bucks. he dosent know nothing about cars and wants to sell the stuff. his dad had it rebuilt by a shop it has a shift kit in it and everything. Well should i get it and put it in or put the shift kit in my 700r4? BUTT it has been sitting for a year also. Then if i should get it how much should it cost to put it in?

Re: turbo 350

I HATE not having overdrive...

I think you should pass. Put that 200 bucks toward a stall converter for your 700R4.

It depends on what you use the car for. If its an everyday driver then stick with 700r4. But if you drive it on the weeekend and not long distance i would go with the 350 turbo it is a stronger stock trans. Jegs sells a hurst kit for cross member(about $100). I have heard that a 9" tail shaft will let you keep your drive shaft. I have been looking into doing it to my car. I hope this helped.
